Any thoughts from other owners of this CC pistol. I've only looked at it once at the shop, then lots of YouTube. Seems most people like this gun and the only complaint was trouble breaking it down. Any other thoughts?

I don't own one but I have a lot of experience with them. They are very cool little guns! Break down and reassembly is not bad at all once you get the hang of it.

I have one and I really like it. Can put 50-100 rounds through it for practice without worrying about the kick. If I remember correctly it had a little heft than the LC9. I didn't think breaking it down was that bad but maybe others are more finicky than I. I haven't actually carried it yet though so I can't comment on that.

That's a gun I never have seen. I'll await her chiming in on it. I watched a video on taking it down, it didn't look hard at all. Sig's have a reputation for quality and accuracy. Other people's opinions are always a good thing. But nothing beats actually holding it and firing a magazine or two through it. Sometimes, you come in with pre-conceived notions, and just handling it puts them all to rest.

It's a pretty awesome gun, though I haven't been able to put too many rounds through it so far... but I love the rubber grip as it really fits well to my hand. It handles nicely, not too snappy for being a small gun. I think I'm more partial to my p238 zombie, but the 938 is definitely growing on me.

It sits right next to bring able to handle one for a little bit.

I carry the Sig P938 (Equinox version). I've had it six months and love it. It's a little snappy, but no problem at all for the first half dozen magazines or so. I'll start feeling it after that, though. But with the extended magazine, it's an ideal fit for my hand for great control and accuracy. Very easy to break down and clean. Putting the slide back on can be glitchy, and I sometimes have to repeat the attempt; I've heard the P238 can do the same thing. It was really a tossup between the P238 and P938, and it was purely the 9mm that made the decision.
I'm a short female with small hands. Someone with larger hands might not like how it feels at all.

I love the 238's and 938's. While i don't own either i have used both many times at the range. The only thing i can see being an issue is if you are not used to carrying a firearm with a manual safety. The last thing you need is to draw when you need it and pull the trigger, only to realize you forgot to flip the safety. Practice makes perfect however, so i don't see it being a massive issue to practice with nothing but the 938 or 238 until flipping the safety has become a natural reflex.
I have big mits and even with its size i still find it to be a very comfortable shooter.
The breakdown is not very difficult either. Just like dealing with the safety, do something enough times and it becomes habitual.

I love my two 238's, but my 938 had to go back to the factory. It was better upon its return, but never 100% reliable.
I sold it.
It was the only Sig I ever sold. Love my two 229's also.

I tried out the 938 first time today. This one is a little miscreant of a gun! At first I couldn't seem to hit the side of a barn; no rounds were hitting the target! I remember one YouTube poster claiming his 938 shoots very low, so I picked mine up a bit and the rounds began to hit. I tried both eyes open and that helped, but the groupings were crap. As I plan on CC'ing this pistol and if I ever were to encounter a threat I should deem necessary to target (hopefully not!), it will be a close enough range that i should hit home OK, but with no precision. I'm not sure this tiny barreled gun is really designed for accuracy anyway. Eyes both open, aim a tad high on the sights and I should be fine for defensive purposes. Otherwise fired flawlessly!

Originally were you doing the "pumpkin on a post" sight picture? For Sigs the center dot should be on the target, not below. I had this problem when I first got mine.
