Hmmmm...good video, however not convincing enough to the anti-gun folks, even if they should watch it. My point? He states the AR-15 is one of the best choices for home defense. Really? I guess it would be effective enough, but those high power rounds will penetrate most walls and move out into the street and potentially hit someone else, right? He shows all the mass shooting scenes in the video, so is he saying that folks should carry their AR's around with them to fight the enemy? I agree that we should have the right to bear whatever arms we deem necessary (sans full auto and RPGs, etc), but I'd think for home defense that a shotgun or pistol might be a better choice.

No, I think his message is confusing the imagery shown, with what the AR-15 is really good for besides sporting and hunting: Fighting an oppressive government if the time ever comes. I would not say folks should carry these in the streets to fight a possible terrorist attack, but Yes if the SHTF or we're in a New Orlean's situation where the law is not present.

One thing I notice in a lot of these pro-gun videos, is that they ALWAYS seem to be one-sided, talk over the anti-gunner's head ("hah! gotcha, that's an AR, not an AK!" like that really matters to those who got shot). Instead, I'd like to see a level-headed, simple, AND ACCURATE representation of what the AR-15 is for. Now, we get just bits and pieces, IMO.

Here would be my bullet points for this video:

1. The media doesn't know what they're talking about when it comes to what the AR-15 is and should get their facts straight. Define Semi vs Full auto. Show how this tool is put together and how similar it is to other weapons that the media doesn't talk about. Most importantly: IT'S A TOOL, like anything else.
2. Why do civilians need an AR? BECAUSE WE CAN! It's a tool used for hunting, sporting, and should the need arise, be one of the best weapons to fight a corrupt and illegal government, as well as any "RED DAWN" scenario.
3. Regarding all those gun free zones where mass shootings occur, sure it'd be nice to have AR's slung around our backs while we strut around town, but let's be realistic....a pistol would be the better average choice.
4. Strongly recommend better security and background checks along with ENFORCING THE LAW that's already in place. That's "common sense" to me. Any bans on readily available accessories or variants is going too far. Look at California!

Just my two cents. (Had a few minutes at work! ha!)

You make good points.

The problem we face with this is the same problem the anti-gunners face with their arguments.

We both are afraid to say the truth because we fear the people in the middle will think we are radicals. When you dance around the truth you sound confusing.

The truth is anti-gunners want to ban and confiscate all guns, so they can implement total control whether through martial law, federal takeover of local law enforcement, or Obamas Citizen force, i.e. Hitler youth made up of young black thugs. They also want to make it easier to implement the crime component of wealth distribution.

All that would sound pretty radical to moderates, because it is.

On our side, we want AR-15's to, well frankly, stop all of the above. To the moderates it sounds like we want a civil war and secede from the Union, which, of course, if the antis get everything they want above, then those two things are exactly what we want.

All that would sound pretty radical to moderates, because it is.
