When I grew up in Chicago, I went to Lane Tech HS. The ROTC program their had a Rifle range in the basement of Lane Tech Stadium. I know it is gone now, but I know the range was still in use in 1970. If was educational.

Hopefully by the time my kids are old enough they will have this as an option at their schools.
