I got some parts to order and modding to do before I get to that point. Initial impressions are that the fit and finish is very good. I don't particularly like the butt stock. It's mostly because my kids find it uncomfortable and I want them to be able to shoot it as well. It's nothing a good buttpad won't fix. I'm probably going to order a collapsing AR style stock for it in the future. My oldest has trouble with it as she's on the short side and has trouble with the length of pull on it. The handguard is serviceable. I'm not sold on polymer rails which is what it has. It is more comfortable than some railed handguards though if you don't have a foregrip on it due to its shape. Having handled many stamped receiver AKs in the past I can definitely feel the added weight a milled receiver has. The pistol grip is OK but I'm going to replace it with a Hogue that has a AK style cleaning kit in it for field use.
