Since I've received my license in the first week of March, I have carried every time I leave the house with one sole exception of when we had to go to my wife's bosses house for a party her boss threw. Other than that one time I have carried each and every time I step foot out of the house. I can't carry at work but I do leave it in my truck and in a locked box. I too, never stop at any place usually, but there are 2-3 places along my 11 mile route where I could be forced to stop (stop signs or lights) and is an opportunity for a car jacking if somebody were inclined to attempt.
So to answer the OP's question....you betcha I carry to and from work even though I can't carry while actually at work. (Although my employer is pro-2A as well as our HR director so maybe the will change someday)
