I love the 238's and 938's. While i don't own either i have used both many times at the range. The only thing i can see being an issue is if you are not used to carrying a firearm with a manual safety. The last thing you need is to draw when you need it and pull the trigger, only to realize you forgot to flip the safety. Practice makes perfect however, so i don't see it being a massive issue to practice with nothing but the 938 or 238 until flipping the safety has become a natural reflex.
I have big mits and even with its size i still find it to be a very comfortable shooter.
The breakdown is not very difficult either. Just like dealing with the safety, do something enough times and it becomes habitual.
