They are great guns for the money! Drawback #1 is the fixed barrel, blowback operation. Not the most reliable design. I have also heard on more than one occasion of trigger issues. They are neat plinking guns, but I personally would not trust them as my CC gun. Bersa did just come out with a compact 9mm, the BP9cc. These look and feel great, the triggers are awesome, and they are a major improvement over the thunder series while remaining affordable. Maybe give them a look.
