Has anyone had any experience with the Bersa Thunder CC in .380 ACP? I'm looking for a smaller CCW companion for my full size 9mm and I this gun looks attractive. I would love to hear any opinions on the gun or on Bersas in general.

They are great guns for the money! Drawback #1 is the fixed barrel, blowback operation. Not the most reliable design. I have also heard on more than one occasion of trigger issues. They are neat plinking guns, but I personally would not trust them as my CC gun. Bersa did just come out with a compact 9mm, the BP9cc. These look and feel great, the triggers are awesome, and they are a major improvement over the thunder series while remaining affordable. Maybe give them a look.
I'll check them out. Any personal experience with the BP9cc? I've seen them a few times and held them once but never dry fired or got any range time on one. It did feel good in the hand though. I'd love to see how they shoot.
Have not gotten to fire one yet, but from what I can tell so far, they are built really well. The action is smooth and the trigger pull/reset is pretty nice.

Try to keep your CCW gun as close in design and functionality to the gun you use to train with mostly. If you ever need in a self defensive situation, you want to be 100% familiar with the piece.
Guess I should have checked older threads before posting a similar question. Great feedback!
I own one, although it's not the CC version. Pretty small, but can print if you're not careful. Blowback op is not a problem, in fact, I've been pretty accurate, say 6 inch pattern at 7 yards. Very reliable, but you may want to test out different types of defensive ammo for the best match.
