Yeah leaving is definitely my first choice.. But idk, if I put myself in that position, I think I would hope that he's leaving when he walks back to his car. But when he turns back around with the gun, I think that I would avoid driving into him... It depends what I was already set to do though.. Just because at that point in the incident, you're already on high alert, flight or fight mode. So you've had enough time to observe some options, and made a choice. I think I'd be getting out of the car though if it's blocked in, which would lead to finding cover and drawing. However, to me, from what I see, there was definitely room to the left to hit it and leave the situation. I think I'd avoid trying to hit him because I like my rusty car and don't like court... Haha
Trying to think through it though presents so many variables. Either way as long as you can present solid logic for your choice that's backed up by the video, the situation, and any possible witnesses then you're golden.. You're even better off if you can avoid all of it and not spend your life in court!
