I think the thought should be not how many rounds you should have but what is the plan if multiple people attack. If they are armed with AR/AK's no matter how many rounds you carry really doesn't matter at this point. Even if the multiple attackers have handguns, does it really change anything?
My main goal would be finding an exit or someplace I can position myself for protection.
