It makes sense to show them what it would be like to be forced to not be able to defend yourself or have someone else defend you who was "official" enough to carry. The "poor man" should be able to defend themselves. What's good for the goose...

If they think that guns are the problem and they feel that WE don't need them, then they need to lead by example.
