Stupid decisions that people make. Get a job, get off you *****, move to a different area, do ANYTHING...but for Pete's sake, don't rob someone that is working (like the government is currently doing to us) and don't use a gun.

This is what happens when the progressives are in charge... Hopefully the next store clerk will be armed and have a chance to shoot the guy as he leaves. I hope he enjoys his stay in jail. But knowing the democrats, they will release him and put him on the government dole. So the government will rob the store owner for him...

This should be shown in schools as a metaphor for government income tax. As Ayn Rand would put it, the looters taking from the producers. Guess it never occurred to the robber that the store owner would like to pay his rent and feed his kids.... but hes providing a service to his fellow man, rather than just looting.

British Gunner, I am beginning to think that Atlas Shrugged, Animal House and Capitalism and Freedom should be required reading instead of Das Kapital and Mein Kampf, unless it is just to contrast successful economic policies v. Marxist/Progressive/Democrat policies...

I total concur!

Wow.. Would have been better off going to a food shelter and getting a job anywhere to cover the rent. I'd rather be broke and actually working. I don't have kids so easy for me to say, but still.
