Just got an email on an awesome deal from Ruger to trade in your old LC9 for a new LC9S. If you haven't shot the 9S yet and own an old LC9 you really should check it out and consider the upgrade. What a huge difference the striker fire is compared to the old!

Has anyone found any reading material other than the Ruger promo ad's and their YouTube clips on the new BX 10/22 trigger upgrade they just released?

I've never had a problem with any 10/22 I've ever owned or shot but I'm a bit intrigued with this upgrade. Sooner or later I'm going to have to try at least one.

Ruger released two new products today:

A new version of the LC9S striker fired pistol. The one in the video I saw was slightly larger than the current LC9S, it had the internal magazine safety and the thumb safety removed. Other than that it looked the same. I could be mistaken in that it looks larger, it just did in the video.

The Gunsite scout rifle now has a synthetic stock option, which will lop off a 3/4 of a lbs from the rifle, bringing it down to 6.75 lbs. They also removed the flash hider and replaced it with a muzzle break. I prefer the flash hider. But Ruger listens.

Thanks for the classes last weekend guys, I happily qualified on Sunday with my SR9. Loved the class, loved the training, and really enjoyed meeting Steve and Robb.

I wish I had taken a picture of my qualifying target to post, but suffice it to say I was happy with both my and the SR9's performance. So far it's been a dream to shoot, I can't speak for any of Ruger's other handguns (shot the lcp once and it snaps like a mother****) but if the SR9 is any indicator, I might have to look into some more Ruger products...
