Ok, I have been thinking, I want one for hunting... 30-30 cal. Looking over what I see I see Henry, with a god awful tub loading system that makes reloading slow. I see the Mossberg 464 series, which has lots of awful reviews of jamming issues, although I do like the rear mounted safety. Then there is the Marlin 336, which seems to be the best of them, but I hear of awful quality control from their new owners, Remington. I am thinking the Stainless version of the Marlin fits my needs best. I really liked the fiber optins sights on the Mossberg.

So I am asking the experts at Red Dot, which would they choose?

I'm trying to clean up and organize my safe (which I have about out grown). I've been debating what to use for humidity control.

Seems to me if I understand this right, the dehumidifier rods just warm up the air in the safe. Warmer air will hold more moisture at a lower relative humidity percentage but the moisture is still in the safe. Therefore you would need some type of a moisture absorber with or in place of the rod style units??

Ok, if America is dumb enough to vote Hillary in, and say you wanted to by a couple of firearms, before she tries confiscate them all. What would you buy? Shotguns? AR-15's, Handguns?

I am thinking it might be wise to buy a couple more handguns. I am leaning to a couple that are not expensive, in either .45 ACP or 9mm. I was thinking Ruger American's. I could go Glocks or another FNS-9 as well. I was thinking the Rugers are reliable, similar, and both can be had for under a grand out the door.

What would be your choices?

I love daniel defense, but i think???? I will get better groups out of the wilson combat 18 inch (http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Match-Grade-...6SPR18-18/)
I belive the dd will last longer, and I am a fanboy of daniel defense. But the reviews on the wilson combat say different. Im shooting 100 to 300 yards and want close to moa or sub moa groups. What do you guys think?

showing my complete lack of knowledge. I'd like to ask for some info here. What is the difference between brass and stainless steel ammo (yes, apart from one is brass and one is stainless steel!!). What are the ballistic differences? what is the effect on the barrel? In general it seems to me that steel ammo is cheaper than brass, but are the savings worth it? I know I can rely on you guys for help.

OK, first off, let me start this with a comment that I was right eye dominate until 4 years ago. Now I find I in my old age, that I am becoming more and more left eye dominate. I am right handed. I purchased a couple 9mm pistols and was going nuts with my shots being low and to the left. Part of the problem was trigger finger placement. That seems to have corrected the low part.

Yesterday I was at the range, and was pulling my RIFLE shots low and to the left. So I tried aiming about 8" to the right. Low and behold this corrected the problem. Should I adjust the iron sights a little to compensate? Also, part of the problem is the bipod was jerking to the right a little (a little skateboard tape on the bottom will fix that) with each shot.

Old age is a *****...

I have the LaRue LT104-1" SPR M4 Mount QD and looking to a scope in the style of Redfield Revolution 3-9x40mm in 1"and replace fixed rear sight with a Di Optic Folding Battle Sight from LaRue. First is will my fixed front sight create view issues with scope ( I scope will mount but don't know if front iron would show up or hamper scope view). Second is while it appears folding sight will work with this set up I am looking for second opinion from experts.
