They had anything/everything around kayaking/canoeing/kayak fishing you could think of. They also have vendors showing off a lot of survival gear, too.

On a whim, I picked up a portable sail for my small kayak, that could be fun with a steady wind, and a contraption that I'll mount on my boat that will let me slide my anchor to bow/stern depending on my facing direction and wind direction. Pretty neat!

Anyone interested in this type of recreation should try and make it next year.]]>

Being a Subie owner, there's a lot of hype about how offroad worthy they are. I have yet to try getting out of a sticky situation and have little luck trying to lose control in the snow.

I'd like to find a place where I could go off road and get muddy and see how that AWD really works. Granted, I don't own a jeep, so only moderate ruts, please!]]>
