I've been keeping ammo in .50 cal cans for over 30 years. They"ve gone through two wives, several moves, and a heck of a lot more. I try to keep my ammo in factory boxes so I know what loads they are, it's also easier to keep track of quantity.

I store shotgun shells in plastic storage containers. If anyone has a better,economical suggestion for storing shot shells please let me know.
