Sounds to me like he should be under investigation for murder. The circumstances are too strange. He met this woman on duty, presumably on a call (because if she were unstable enough to shoot herself, chances are that he did not meet her under positive circumstance). If he DID meet her in a positive manner like at a Dunkin Donuts while on duty or something, why, if they this were a positive experience, would she take her own life? He went to her house for a good time and she shoots herself?... Something smells like crap. I know stranger things have happened but I'm curious to know how much investigation went in to this "suicide", especially being a 20 year vet of the department. He was probably pretty close with that McCarthy, who may be protecting him? Perhaps he knows a few things about McCarthy?
