I heard their was a recall on the trigger for the Shield...
I have fired one at the range this summer, I thought it was an excellent hand gun. Easy to sight, easy for the second round to stay on target. I thought it was very accurate and comfortable to hold. I probably put 80 rounds through it, 4 different brands and had no feed or ejection issues. The controls were good. I have nothing negative to say about it. Since the gun wasn't mine, I didn't think to ask what it costs. If you are looking for a CCW weapon, I'd add this to the short list. The one I fired fired didn't have a manual safety, but I understand it does come with one if you want.
