A GFZ is really a "Sitting Duck Zone". The victims will just be casualties and the criminals/insane will not have to worry about any good guys for 5-10 minutes it takes them to respond.

You have to wonder about parents and teachers calling 911? Do they want ARMED good guys to show up? Do the good guys have to leave their guys outside the GFZ, like the other good guys?
