I agree. The choices we have today is mind boggling. Can you imagine the reaction a WWII mud marine would have to all the choices the world's various military units have available to them today? That marine had to lug a 14 lbs. BAR and today we have even more powerful rifles, and even machine guns, that weigh half that.
