on Grass Lake while I was duck hunting . I had just load up my
eight foot john boat with my guns & ammo (see picture below) I got out to the middle of the lake (deepest part) I had shut off the motor
that when I realized I left the decoys and my dog on the dock
I knew right then this was starting out to be a bad day. Then all of a sudden I see this Hugh flock of ducks heading right for me so I grab the first gun that was closes to me turn out it was one of my AR'S thank god I didn't have to load it (I keep all my guns loaded all the time) so I stand up in the boat and the ducks start flying over me I started shooting there was ducks dropping ever ware (30 round clip) the ducks started to turn and I turned that when the boat started to capsize next thing I know I'm floating with a bunch of dead ducks and my boat and all my gun wear gone turn out is was something to do with counter balancing me standing up and all the ammo on one side. of the boat If I learned anything from this it is that ammo in a boat can be very dangerous If you don't balance it. Boat, guns ,ammo total lost. Now all I have is my dog and a pile of decoys.
Yep it was freaky.
What a tragedy.
LOL... I see the real problem, you didn't have enough guns and ammo. If I put mine in a 8' boat the boat would never have floated in the first place, it would have sank at launch.
