These socialists/leftists are idiots. Government cannot provide anything for FREE!. What government does is confiscate from those that have to redistribute to those that want in return for votes.
Government does just about everything far worse than the private sector. It is always the most expensive option. Monopolies by their very nature never provide good value to consumers. State run ones are the worst of the monopolies.
Look at the 'Public Option' in education. A very poor product, with an exceptionally high cost. I ask you again, WHY is government involved in education, since there is ZERO mention in the Constitution about it?
But remember this, NOTHING Government provides is ever FREE. Imagine if everyone had to pay for the government services they alone used. No free rides. Then you would see a cry to get rid of government services.
Government spends about 52,000 per year per household. That means if your family didn't pay 52,000 in taxes, you are freeloading on someone else. Now if every single household paid their fair share, or was FORCED to, the Second American revolution would already be here!
