Remember several weeks ago when I told you that Mr. Mock and I were going to stop our contributions to Wounded Warrior Project and look for a new military/veteran charity to give to? If you don't remember why we did that, you can catch up right here.

After reading this article, I'm convinced more than ever that we made the right decision. According to that sourcelink, Wounded Warrior Project isn't just turning away gun owners/vendors, but they are also turning away churches.

Liberty Baptist Church in Florida had signed up to do a fundraiser for WWP, and expected to bring in around $50,000. Instead, they received a notice from WWP which stated in part, "We must decline the opportunity to be the beneficiary of your event due to our fundraising event criteria, which doesn’t allow community events to be religious in nature.”

Yeah. Because of COURSE they don't want to accept donations from God-fearing, patriotic, military-supporting people. That makes perfect sense.
