My Mosin, actually shoots really well with Iron sights out to 200 yds, no problem. And it is probably really good beyond that, although my eyes are not. It seems very accurate and rugged. I purchased it as a hand out gun for SHTF. It came with a whole kit, and looks impressive with the bayonet fixed. Now that I have it, I kind of enjoy bringing it to the range and shooting it. It's probably a nostalgic thing.
