Feel free to take a class. It helps in a couple of ways. You learn a lot about how to look at and interpret data... like why slower burning powders work better under heavier bullets. Helps a lot when you see 5 powders in the list and you happen to have three of them on the shelf and don't know which is best. Secondly, there are a lot of tricks out there. Where and how to get components, how to safely substitute primers, what's up with crimping or not crimping, and how much is too much crimp... and in the rifle world, how can I make one simple adjustment that assures totally straight ammo (less than 0.005" runout) without all the concentricity tools... That's the stuff we do in class, as well as have all the fun tools for trimming etc. My next is in a couple of weeks and then I wont be doing anymore until mid Jan or late Feb when I get back into town..
