You mentioned you want it for CC. Do you want to carry a revolver or semi? What feels best in your hands. With $900 you can buy just about any handgun you want. You really need to think about what you plan on doing with it, range, home, or CC. If you want a gun for CC, don't buy one because it's cool, buy it thinking your life may be on the line one day.
I sure understand about having to stock up on different ammo, that's been my problem for quite some time. Recently I consolidated and sold/bartered a few guns. I'm down to only five different handgun calibers now. It's much more manageable now. in a SHTF situation I'll now have a good inventory on the ammo I would really need.
