They've made some decent lists online, I just read through a couple of the basic ones in a few minutes and you'll automatically sift through the things you think you would need the most. From there is pretty much do exactly what mike said. I've also heard if you're starting from scratch, get the equipment together first, then find a bag to fit your needs. Idk if I'll follow that at all, but it could be useful.
