Can I go in and check-in at the front door to get my range bag locked up and then proceed to the range counter to get it unlocked while keeping my CCW in my holster the whole time...and then enter the range, unholster and clear my self defense ammo, load up my range ammo and begin to shoot? Then when done can I load up with my self defense ammo, reholster and leave?

Or is shooting your actual CCW not allowed and you have to keep it holstered the entire time while in the store and range?

largefarva, you keep your CCW on you at all times within Bass Pro. You check in at the front desk and let them know you are a CCW holder. They will lock your bag and then you go up to the range. When your at the upstairs range counter you let them know your a CCW holder and they will unlock your bag. They will then check your FOID and CCW cards.

Once on the range in your lane you may withdraw your CCW firearm and proceed to use it.

When your done at the range, reload with self defense ammo and exit the range. Check out upstairs and basically everything is reverse.

The only time you handle your CCW firearm is on the range in your lane. Thumbs up

I have done this many times.

Hope this helps.

BTW Any additional firearms you bring in besides your CCW will need to be locked at the lower front desk.
