Thanks, I'd be interested in your selection and findings. I am a strong believer in Iron Sights, but at my age and with my eyes not as good as they used to be, optics make more and more sense. Optics are probably one area you never want to skimp on, even though I am a cheapskate. Good glass can make any rifle a far more useful tool.

For example, I think the Vortex magnifiers are better than the EOTech ones and cost half what they do. I really think Vortex scopes give Leupold scopes a run for their money as well.
