I work in software development also. I have always preferred the PC environment as Apple development tools are very expensive compared to a copy of Visual Studio. Plus, why write for such a limited market?

The had an iPhone 4 for that last 3 years, and have switched to a Galaxy S5 Active in the last month. So far I prefer the Galaxy. I like the bigger screen. I usually type my notes, but it is way easier on the Galaxy with my fat fingers.

I have not replaced all my networking apps yet. I have not checked out the sniper solution apps available yet. So far, I can do everything easier on the Android.

I thought about the change as battery life I read was less, but so far I think they are about the same. I have not used the voice options yet with regard to Google.

So far I prefer the Android device.
