I do marvel at some of the preppers I have met that have nice weapons, and even complete sets of replacement parts, but if they had to fix something broken, I don't think they could do it, and they don't have any of the tools either. That would be one reason even at my age, I am thinking the build would be the better option. I mean, I could change out some stuff, like triggers, but I doubt I could change out the barrel or the gas block.
