I have GEN-1 19's and 17's going as far back as 1984 when they first hit the U.S market. I've fired an infinite number of rounds through most of my Glocks, the only problem I've had was due to the ammo or user....
There's so many Glocks out there, part's should never be an issue. I'm sending a GEN-1 19 to Glock for conversion to an updated frame with a rail to mount a laser or bayonet.
When I get it back and put a few hundred rounds through it I'll follow up with my fellow Glock lovers.
My only out of the box complaint on Glocks are the OEM sight's.
