It does have a rifled 24" barrel, and the longer one does have a couple chokes with it, which is another thing I need to work on in general. I know the concept behind them, I just need to use them a good bit. I'm definitely going to try to go shoot at some clays and see how that goes.. Just need to find the right shot to start out with! I'll probably pick up a variety from federal and maybe a box or two of those others to try out.
Is there a good size shot to start out with for bird hunting? I know there's a lot of factors, but when I go to buy some ammo if there's a better one to get some extra of I'll do that. Also I can chamber up to 3-1/2" shells, I was thinking of getting some of each, but figured the 3" would be a good size to stock?
