One slight correction, the Progressives are the Socialists. Back in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries they were up front about being Fallopian Socialists. When people started to catch on to what that meant they changed to being Progressives. When that started to get a bad connotation they switched to being Liberals. Now that Liberal is becoming a bad thing they are again switching to being Progressives, due to most people not know what that refers to. Hillary Clinton even stated in an interview that she is an early 20th Century Progressive.
