I don't go through a background check at all any more. By West Virginia law if you are a CCW license holder you no longer have to go through the background check, as you have proof that you would pass it in the form of the license. This law went into effect in July of last year. Basically, it's like being carded when buying a six pack or a pack of smokes. I'm sure that has to stick in the craw of Hitlery and the other gun seizing dopes.
