Kel-tec has put out some lemons in the past. With that said, they've been trying to do tighter quality control with some of their newer offerings. The KSG being a prime example. The first run had some flaws and they worked to correct those in later runs. I used to have one of their P-11s. It was a good budget priced offering but I didn't shoot it much. When a friend wanted a small 9mm for his wife, I sold it to him and she loves it.
