So I went into the range today to confirm. You just need to have a FOID card with you. They shouldn't need to see the CCW, just state they you have a CCW if your not bring in any other firearms with you.

When I first started to question the front desk about the CCW policy, I was told you just need to inform the front desk about the CCW and that you have the firearm on you. They still need to lock the bag up before you go up to the range. I laughed and asked them why they need to lock the range bag up when you have the firearm on your person. The person at the front desk told me "That's where the ammo is". I guess my continuing laughing gave them second thoughts about that story since I explained to the nice front desk person most people that have CCW carry the firearm loaded already and not to mention some people carry an extra mag on the other hip.

The front desk person broke down and said " it reduces shop lifting". Angry
