It takes time for Cops to learn the laws. And not all Cops have the same interests. No Cop can know all the laws, many mistakes are made. I've found most to be reasonable, if you are. Sometimes if they are receptive, you can show them a copy of the statue. But be respectful, understand they have a general distrust of much of the public, cause they deal with the worst of the public.

99% of the cops are good guys. And probably 2/3rds are strong supporters of the second amendment. Total cooperation goes a LONG WAY, and I am not a cop.
