Also keep in mind, that whatever force the Feds might use against the States, those men/women are from those states. Don't forget the possibility of those servicemen refusing to follow orders to kill or oppress their neighbors. Yes, the Civil War had that happen, so it is possible, but in this day and age, more unlikely. Interesting thoughts.
