Like I said in the ammo post, Bear (brown, silver, or golden) is great for target shooting. Why I like the Wolf WPA HP is because in my experience it has better expansion than the Bear HP or SP. Since I use my rifle for varmints, as well as target shooting, it fits my needs better. If all your doing is shooting paper or steel the Bear is great stuff. When you do get your rifle I do suggest before buying a large quantity of a particular type that you buy a box or two of different brands and bullet types that interest you to see which it digests the best. This is an AK thing and a given rifle can be finicky towards one ammo type. A lot of AKs hate SP ammo for example while just about any FMJ will work in any rifle. Some might like the SP but hate HP. As with any firearm you also need to see which brand the gun likes.
