I too have found the Nobel shells to be very clean burning. As there are several grades of Federal shells, I have found the less expensive one to be not quite as clean burning. The Winchester AA shells are always a good bet but they are more expensive. Be sure to use a good shotgun bore cleaner like Remington Shotgun Cleaner after you are done. A couple of passes through the barrel with a bore snake makes your job a lot easier.
