From an article that came out shortly after the Sandy Hook murders, "Detectives believe Lanza targeted an elementary school because he considered it a 'point of least resistance,' and he could rack up the greatest number of kills."
Why did Lanza think that? BECAUSE THE SCHOOL WAS A GUN-FREE ZONE! Get rid of gun-free zones and we'll see a drop in these incidents. The ironic part of all this is that the police state that it was due to a gun-free zone and the CT government pushes through more gun control laws to fix what they broke with gun control laws.
