Dutz, as with any situation, you have to use judgement and training. Of course if you see muzzle flashes and hear gunshots it is best to take cover first, and assess the situation. You should always be aware of you surroundings. You should always know what you are shooting at, and you should always know what is behind your target. But I prefer the wild west, that everyone dead. I am sure there are cases where innocent people are hurt by good guys in fire fights. It's tragic, but think of the carnage without resistance.

As my tag line says: "An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." It is true in a bank heist, school shooting or movie theater. The only difference evil will play itself out till the good guys arrive, in Sitting Duck Zones. Liberals expect us to accept the carnage. I say let their schools be GFZ, I prefer the teachers packing heat...
