I would have done almost the same. I probably would have sent it over to ZEV Technologies and let them do a little customization to it. As I have said before, my brother loves his Glocks and he also does a lot of customization to them. A friend of his has had ZEV Technologies do a lot of modifications and turn some Glock pistols into really bad A$$ little shooters. I have not had the chance to shoot any of them but they are sweet looking. His buddy just had a customized AR built for comp by ZEV Technologies and spent just under 8k on it. I'm not looking for any custom work on my 19. I plan on using it for CC. I'm only concerned that it works when needed., as far as range use
I'm retiring it. I'll always shoot it at the range but only for carry practice.

$16 a day at McMillers is why I mentioned I need to get there. My reference to range cost was for local ranges I could go to after work or days off. With McMillers I need to add the cost of gas to get there,much different than when I was referring to..
