That new Ruger is not cheap. And you will need to a good scope (I recommend a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP-ERB-1 (MRAD) and TPS steel rings). And a Harris Bi-Pod. At $1399 (MSRP) for the rifle, you are probably looking at a $1200 street price, $90 for the rings, $110 for the Bi-Pod and another $950 for the scope. All total $2350 plus tax... Not too bad a price for what you get. Add in a flash suppress / muzzle brake, and your probably probably near $2700 for a nice platform.
