I went to a graduation party today. Tried to be helpful by opening a package. One slip of the blade later, I sliced my left thumb open.
I spent 5 hours at the ER. All I have to show for it are 5 stitches, a tetanus shot, which I'm told will hurt like a ***** tomorrow, and my left hand is useless. Right now, I'm just trying to consume enough to counter the adrenaline so I can get to sleep.
The worst part is, I had to cancel my trip to McMiller tomorrow.
I've always heard dull knives are more dangerous. I beg to differ. The Doc actually commented that it must have been a sharp knife to go so deep.
Anyway, I'm venting and sleep deprived. Take this for what it's worth.
