I completely agree that criminals do not bother obeying gun laws. My point was that the legal system doesn't seem to take much notice either (unless of course it's a law abiding citizen), if his father was still in jail for his gun crime arrest instead of being released by some dopey judge, he would not have been a target on the streets and his son collateral damage.
