I think the Glen Beck charity is a very good one. And I am sure closely watched unlike Hillary's, which is a 300 times larger. But all LARGE charities are going to be problematic, like organized religion. People to run them cost money, and many are of dubious value. Even having accountants to collect incoming donations and bank them cost money. That said, I still donate to organizations like the Red Cross, WWP and others. It is sort of like comparing government spending on the VA. How much actually reaches Veterans? They spend money on everything from buildings to lawn service. Only 38% of their budget is directly spent on salaries and supplies used in healthcare, but the hospital administrators and janitors have to be paid too.
