I hear you there about shooting clay over paper. Sounds like a cool place, do you have to buy their ammo, or could you bring your own? The 870 is a good gun, I shoot one with an after market Monte Carlo stock. I see quite a few guys shooting league with them. How are you holding the gun when you pull back the fore grip? Are you holding it with the ejection port facing up? I normally have the gun at a 45 degree angle and turned slightly so the ejection port isn't facing anyone when I eject a shell. That way I don't tag the guy next to me and the normally land in front of me so I can keep track if his many rounds I fired at the position. I would want to go I just need to figure out what days I am free, Saturday works a lot better for me.
