walmart is proving to be pretty weird about guns in general, even if it is not their policy, their employees are a direct reflection of the company. i recorded with my phone their refusal to sell me a 22lr cricket for my son. when i went to purchase it in december for my son for xmas i pulled out my id but the employee saw my illinois id with void punched in to it and would not sell it to me because i did not have a valid id, but i was using my wisconsin id and he saw it when i pulled out my wallet and i said the dmv stamps my old id when i get the new one, not that anything in my wallet was his business but i really wanted it for my boy. they called the store gm over and said he lives in wisconsin and is aware of the process but was going to honor the initial choice of his employee and they did not sell it to me. i sent the video to corporate with a nice email and they sent me a 20 dollar gift card and said sorry. when i left the store that day i went to paddock lake sporting goods and walked out with the rifle. No company should let their employees personal beliefs decide which parts of their stores policy they are going to follow.....unless of course they just dont care...
